  • Our jewellery pieces are always selected and appraised by a qualified gemologist, they are then inspected and hallmarked in accordance with current customs regulations.

    They can only be seen and tried on by appointment at the bank, on presentation of an identity document.

    When a purchase is made, a detailed invoice describing the jewellery piece and its characteristics is given to the buyer. This document is considered to be a certificate of authenticity and is valid for insurance purposes.

  • No Product purchased on the Site may be delivered in person.

    Only a Product purchased outside the Site can be hand delivered. Such hand delivery shall be free of charge, at the express request of the Buyer and in accordance with the terms previously agreed between the parties.

    The handover is carried out after full payment of the price of the Product.

    Shipment by carrier

    Products purchased on the Site are sent by carrier in suitable packaging. The delivery costs mentioned in paragraph 3.2 of the General terms and conditions include packaging and handling costs.

    The shipment is made with insurance.

    The Product will be handed over to the carrier who will choose the solutions adapted to the protection of the Product during transport.

    Under these conditions, anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery declines all responsibility for damage or loss of the goods during transport and delivery.

    Receipt

    Upon receipt of the Product, the Buyer must carry out all necessary examinations to ensure that the Product corresponds to the Product indicated on the invoice and to identify any damage suffered during transport. If the Product does not correspond to what is indicated on the invoice or if any damage is found, the Buyer is required to refuse the parcel, stating the exact reason for his refusal on the delivery note.

    After receipt of the Product by the Buyer, any claim concerning the non-conformity of the Product with the invoice or any damage caused to the Product during transport shall be inadmissible.

  • The products are only available in a single copy and can therefore not be exchanged or replaced.

    Swiss law does not provide the Buyer with a right of withdrawal.

    The Buyer in the European Union has a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) days from the day of receipt of the Products.

    To exercise his/her right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery his/her wish to withdraw by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by email.

    The exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Buyer shall entail the obligation to return, at his/her expense, within fourteen (14) days of the exercise of his/her right of withdrawal, the Product whose Order has been cancelled.

    Where applicable, anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery shall indicate to the Buyer the address to which the Product may be returned.

    The Product must be returned in its original packaging or any other equivalent packaging suitable for the nature of the Product, accompanied by a copy of the purchase invoice.

    The Product must be returned under the same conditions of transport as those of the delivery (carrier and insurance).

    The returned Product must not have suffered any deterioration of any kind, the Buyer being deemed responsible in the event of deterioration of the Product when it is returned toverdaine gallery. Additional costs may be deducted from the Buyer's refund in this case, depending on the nature of the damage. In this case, the risk shall be borne by the Buyer.

    The Buyer shall be reimbursed as soon as possible, and at the latest within fourteen (14) days following the date on which the right of withdrawal was exercised, for the full price of the Product, provided that anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery has received the said Product in perfect condition, in its original packaging or equivalent packaging appropriate to its nature and with all its accessories.

  • General terms and conditions

    1 - Scope of application

    These general conditions of sale apply to any consultation or order placed on the website vintagefinejewellery-geneva.com (the "Site") operated by the company anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery.

    The Site allows any person or entity, individual or professional (the "Buyer"), to buy objects and works of art or any other second-hand goods (the "Product(s)").

    Confirmation of the order for the Product(s) (the "Order") by the Buyer implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, which shall prevail over all previous versions, with the exception of waivers previously agreed in writing between the parties.

    2 - Orders

    2.1 - Product offer

    The Products offered for sale are sold as is. They are presented as accurately as possible through detailed descriptive notices which give an account of their essential characteristics. The Buyer accepts, given their nature as second-hand goods, that the Products may show signs of use and/or wear due to the passage of time.

    The photographs of the Products are as accurate as possible, are only illustrations and are not contractual.

    The Products are only available in a single copy and can therefore not be exchanged or replaced.

    2.2 - Acceptance of the Order

    The Order is firm as soon as the payment is validated by the Buyer and gives rise to the sending by anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery of an email confirming the acceptance of the Order to the email address provided by the Buyer.

    3 - Price and payment

    3.1 - Product prices

    The prices of the Products are indicated on the Site in Swiss francs, including all taxes ("TTC"). The prices are firm, without discount or rebate, and may be modified at any time by anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery which the Buyer acknowledges and accepts.

    In accordance with the tax regulations applicable to second-hand goods, the value added tax ("VAT") is calculated on the margin, the invoices are drawn up inclusive of tax and the VAT is not recoverable for taxable professionals.

    3.2 - Delivery costs

    The prices indicated do not include delivery costs.

    For Switzerland, these delivery costs are indicated at the time of the Order and are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Outside Switzerland and for foreign countries, delivery costs vary according to the destination and the nature of the Product. The Buyer expressly accepts them after anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery has sent a quote.

    All costs related to the import of a Product are the exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.

    3.3 - Payment

    Payment shall be made exclusively in Swiss francs. The full price is due upon validation of the Order.

    Payment of the price of the Products on the Site is made online by credit card. Payment is secure and anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery has no access to any data relating to the Buyer's means of payment.

    Any bank charges (commission charges, transfer charges, etc.) are payable by the Buyer, including in the case of a refund.

    Payment of the price of the Products outside the Site is made in accordance with the terms previously agreed between the parties (bank transfer or cash).

    3.4 - Invoicing

    The invoice sent to the Buyer includes the information provided by the latter as well as the price paid for the Product.

    4 - Delivery

    4.1 - Personal delivery

    No Product purchased on the Site may be delivered in person.

    5 - Responsibility of anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery

    5.1 - Responsibility of anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery

    The liability of anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery for the Products delivered, including in the context of the applicable contractual or legal guarantees, is limited to the price of the non-conforming Products. anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery may not be held liable for compensation for indirect damage or any other financial loss suffered by the Buyer or by a third party.

    anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery may only be held liable if the Buyer has made a claim, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, within one (1) month of the said occurrence.

    5.2 - Exemption from liability

    5.2.1 - Visual representation of the Products

    The visual representations of the Products appearing on the Site are as accurate as possible. However, given the current state of the art, the rendering of these representations, particularly in terms of colour or shape, may vary significantly from one computer to another or differ from reality depending on the quality of the graphic accessories and the screen or the resolution of the display. In any case, these variations and differences cannot be attributed to anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery, which cannot be held responsible in any way.

    5.2.2 - Products sold on the Site

    anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery shall in no way be held liable for the misuse of Products, poor maintenance of Products, accidental damage or improper use of Products after their delivery.

    5.2.3 - Accessibility of the Site and force majeure

    Neither party may be held responsible for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations if this non-performance is due to an act of God or to the occurrence of an element constituting force majeure such as, in particular, and without this list being restrictive, flooding, fire, storm, transport strike, partial or total strike, or lock-out. The party affected by such events shall inform the other party as soon as possible and at the latest within five (5) working days of the occurrence of such event.

    The parties agree that they shall consult each other as soon as possible in order to determine together the terms and conditions for the performance of the Order during the period of the force majeure or fortuitous event.

    If the case of force majeure lasts for more than one (1) month, anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery may not honour the Order, at the expense of anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery to reimburse the Buyer, where applicable, for the sums paid by the Buyer for the Order concerned.

    5.2.4 - Other legislation

    The Site cannot be held responsible for the Product's non-compliance with the legislation of the Buyer's country, who must check that the Product is not prohibited for sale in his country.

    6 - Right of withdrawal

    Swiss law does not provide the Buyer with a right of withdrawal.

    7.1 - Intellectual Property

    The elements published on the Site, including in particular logos, registered trademarks, texts, photographs, images, drawings, models or paintings, constitute works protected by intellectual property rights or personal rights. The reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of this Site is prohibited without the express prior consent of the holders of these rights and constitutes an infringement punishable by the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code and/or a tort liable to engage the civil liability of the violators of the aforementioned rights.

    7.2 - Responsibility of users

    Browsing the Site is the sole responsibility of users. anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery shall not be held responsible for any breakdowns, errors or computer viruses that may prevent continued access to the Site or for any malfunctions in the users' computer systems that may be observed following access to the Site. anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage that may be linked to the use of or access to the Site or to the downloading of elements stored on the Site (images, texts, video files, etc.).

    7.3 - Data Protection Act

The latter have the right to access, rectify, oppose and delete this data, in accordance with the provisions of the "Data Protection Act" of 6 January 1978.     8 - Miscellaneous

    8.1 - Proof

    By express agreement between anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery and the Buyer, emails are deemed to be proof between the parties, as are the automatic recording systems used on the Site, particularly as regards the nature and date of the Order.

    The Buyer may access, in accordance with the rules of common law, the electronic contract concluded with anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery. To do so, he/she shall send a request by e-mail to contact@vintagefinejewellery-geneva.com providing all the necessary information, in particular the Order number and his/her contact details.

    8.2 - Modification of the general conditions of sale

    anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale. Any new version of these terms and conditions shall be posted on the Site. The version online on the Site at the time of the Order prevails over any other previous version of these general conditions of sale.

    8.3 - Entire contract

    These general terms and conditions of sale and the Order summary sent to the Buyer form a contractual whole and constitute the entirety of the contractual relationship between the parties.

    9 - Applicable law / Jurisdiction

    9.1 - Swiss law

    The relationship between the Buyer and anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery under an Order is governed by Swiss law.

    9.2 - Jurisdiction

    In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, any legal action shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the jurisdiction of the registered office of anne-lyse jauze | vintage fine jewellery.
